Going Out

One of the advantages of being self employed is the chance to take time off when you want to, the down side of this is of course that nobody pays me if I'm not working.   However a couple of years ago I decided that I would start to take one day off each month, to do something, to feed my inner person.   In general this has meant going to an exhibition, visiting a garden, a museum, or maybe a lunch time concert.

Over the last year I have have slipped and missed a few months, however I am also beginning to take these days as Paula days, and making them doubly good.   There was not much around the last couple of months, but now there are several exhibitions I would like to see, I have already, mentioned the Degas at the R.A. http://www.royalacademy.org.uk/ I would also like to see Grayson Perry's piece at the British Museum http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/profiles/grayson-perry-working-with-louis-vuitton-2372508.html and now there is a Leonardo exhibition at the National Gallery    http://www.nationalgallery.org.uk/whats-on/exhibitions/leonardo-da-vinci-painter-at-the-court-of-milan

I think I am just going to have to prioritise over the next few months.
